Are there ANY affordable rc planes?
I have been searching for an affordable three channel rc airplane. It needs to be electric, non-plastic(I have been planning a couple of mods), as well as full kit or ready to fly(by full kit, I mean everything included). If anyone can find one, I will be very grateful.
Dont go for three channel - this implies rudder and no aileron control.
Control with ailerons is better. Join a club. Get someone experienced to trim the model, fly it initially and train you. Do not launch a model without Insurance - they can do a lot of damage. I dont know about electric but you need to change the batteries nearly after every flight - this means a lot of sets of charged batteries going to the field. Mind you with electric you do not need to bring fuel, starters and power backs for starters and glow plugs. Get advice from the 'wise old guys' at the local club as to the choice of model. Budget for £300 to £400
Every success to you.
