I've been on heaps of websites and ive seen heaps of airplanes that look bloody cheap (100 bucks to 1000 bucks) but how much do they usually cost with the engine?
How much would it cost for an aiplane which has electric motor (has the radio reciever) and the plane made out of foam?
How much would it cost for an aiplane which has FUELD motor (has the radio reciever) and the plane made plastic or fibreglass?
How much do they cost ALL UP (with everything?)
Cheers!
The cost is dependent on what you buy, and what it can do.
As you mention, from toys at less than $100 to complicated multiengine jets requiring TWO pilots at $10,000+; such as a B-52 with 10 foot+ wingspan, operating bomb bay doors and bomb racks, etc., or F-15 fighter with jet engines, fireable rockets, and remote video, or a B-17 big enough to have operational guns as well as bombs, etc.
Most of mine are between $300 and $500 including everything IF each had it's own transmitter; but one transmitter can be used for many planes, just not at the same time.
Foam is used primarily for small "park flyers", plastic and/or fiberglass for some parts are used on larger models; but the primary construction is wood on most models other than factory made kits and/or RTF models.
