Hey Fellas I am looking to buy a friend of mine who is an experienced turbine flyer something electric to mess around with. He has built many planes, but I am looking for something without too much assembly due to the fact that tools will not be accessible. Any suggestions? Foam or Fiberglass? RTF or EDF? Thanks
The best planes are hard to describe. There are so many planes out there to choose from. They come prebuilt or in kits. I know that the Cessna is a great plane to fly. They are easy to control and do stunts with once you get the hang of them. Check out this site and see what you can find. They have a lot of different planes to choose from.

so you are going to gift him a plane right? since he has experience with fiberglass planes, you should be looking for a EDF jet, a RTF one so he can just put the batteries in and go fly, no assembly required (well, just glue the wings and thats it.)
you can check http://www.nitroplanes.com for some EDF jets and if you got a lot of money, then buy him a fiberglass plane but if he crashes it, thats it, it's garbage, if you crash a foamie jet, you just glue it back, you can't do that with fiberglass planes.
also RTF means Ready to Fly and EDF means Electric Ducted Fan.
