What camera to use for RC airplane video footage?

Hi, I want to buy a 1080p HD camera for a RC airplane to take video footage. I want a camera that is not too heavy for my plane (although I have a large electric F4U Corsair). Any ideas from people that have HD cameras and have used them on their airplanes?

If anybody has had a good camera, could you include the youtube link showing me the quality?

go pro cameras are amazing. waterproof and basically crash proof.

make sure to put it on 1080p.

sorry it wont, besides, this is a toy model. If it was a scale model rc plane then you had the chance to buy your own radio and receiver. the receiver goes on the plane and it obeys whatever the transmitter says…

No, this model requires a separate radio controller a 2-3 ch. will work. Most kits don't come with controllers because there is a lot of options one may put on their plane so they may require a more sophisticated radio system. Complete ready to fly systems have the optional controller offered separately.

Or does it come with a remote?

1. Amazon lists it as "out of stock".
2. It is allegedly made by Dumas, BUT the Dumas site does NOT list it.

3. It may or may not have the RC equipment.
Since I can NOT find a price, I can't say, or even make a good guess.
IF it DOES have ailerons it would need 4 channel equipment, BUT, you should buy a minimum of 4 channel equipment anyway.

I note that MOST of the Dumas kits listed are NOT RC.

Might I suggest you try a regular HOBBY site instead where more information is available to help you decide what else you need.

How to construct a cheap plastic payload container for my RC airplane?

Hey guys, I have a couple of 1400 mm RC Electric planes and I want to place some type of plastic payload container at the bottom of my plane so that I can control the opening action of the payload with a servo motor.

Any ideas?
